Ashminder Kaur is an award winning lawyer and finance expert with 20 years experience.

She holds a BSc(Hons), MA and MJur (Oxon) and is is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales.

After graduating from Oxford University Ashminder joined top top tier global law firm Clifford Chance, London office.

Thereafter she joined PartyGaming PLC, then the world’s largest online gaming platform in Gibraltar prior to their successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange, before becoming co-founder and Managing Partner at Hedge Fund Hotel.

Ashminder has acted on transactions involving some of the largest financial institutions globally, governments, PPP, hedge funds, family offices and multi-national companies. She also works with smaller clients and is known for being practical, client-focused, on time and giving clear explanations.

Ashminder has been an expert panelist for Bloomberg and the Arab Financial Forum and is familiar with Sharia compliant structures and investment funds.

She is published and an occasional opinion columnist for the business section of The Standard Newspaper. She has been cited in finance publications including HFM Week and efinancial news.

Ashminder is Kenyan and attended Braeburn Primary and High School. Her hobbies include writing, squash and construction.
